Rheological properties of blood and parameters of platelets aggregation in arterial hypertension. The results of some researches specify the important role of blood rheological properties changes in arterial hypertension (AH) pathogenesis. The goal of our study is to investigate the parameters of hemorheology and platelet aggregation in patients with various grade of AH. Aggregation formation, stability and kinetics were similar between GWI+and GWI-. Complete blood counts were also similar, with the exception of mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH), mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC), and RBC distribution width (RDW) which was elevated in GWI+. Conclusions: In this preliminary study, we observed increased deformability along with increased MCH, MCHC and RDW in veterans with GWI+, which may contribute to the symptomatology of GWI. properties exhibit different values depending on the constitutive relationship selected.

Conclusions: In this preliminary study, we observed Although much research has been done to investigate the rheological properties of blood for an overview, see Sousa et al. [13]), many of the underlying mechanics are still not understood well The aim and objectives of the study were to investigate the state of adsorption-rheological properties of blood (ARPB) in patients with different clinical course of lung cancer (LC), the detection of violations of surface-active, viscoelastic and relaxation properties of blood serum, their association with tumor markers, the evaluation of the prognostic value of initial indexes in the development of complications … Rheological properties and function of blood cells. in stored bank blood and salvaged blood. METHODS A parallel-plate rheometer (Model: AR2000EX, These results demonstrate that rHb1.1 has excellent rheological properties with whole blood, and its ability to reduce blood viscosity may provide additional benefit toward delivering oxygen to tissues, particularly in conditions of low blood flow, such as shock, trauma and ischemia. It has long been recognized that understanding the rheological properties of blood is essential to a full understanding of the function of the circulatory system. Given the difficulty of obtaining carefully controlled measurements in vivo, most of our current concepts of the flow behavior of blood in vivo are based on its properties in vitro. flow pattern and rheological properties of blood [9].
